One Pink Line by Dina Silver

Genre: Contemporary Women's Fiction

Can the love of a lifetime be forever changed by one pink line? Dina Silver’s tender, absorbing novel, One Pink Line, is the warmhearted, wry story of love, loss and family, as seen through the prism of one singular, spirited young couple who find themselves in a predicament that changes the course of their lives, and those closest to them. With heart, humor and compassion, this debut work of women’s fiction is certain to stir anyone who relishes a good laugh, can stand a good cry, and, above all believes in the redemptive power of love.

This unique, contemporary story gives readers a dual perspective. Sydney Shephard, a sweet-tempered, strong-natured college senior is young, in love with an exceptional man, and unexpectedly pregnant. Faced with a child she never planned for, she is forced to relay this news to her neurotic mother, relinquish her youth, and risk losing the love of her life. Then there’s Grace, a daughter, who believed she was a product of this great love, grows to realize her existence is not what she assumed, and is left with profound and puzzling questions about who she really is.

Spanning generations and every imaginable emotion, One Pink Line reveals how two points of view can be dramatically at odds, and perhaps ultimately reconciled. Simultaneously deeply felt and lighthearted, One Pink Line deftly mines how the choices we make are able to alter so many lives, and how doing the right thing and living honestly can bring unexpected, hard-won happiness. It’s a must-read for anyone who craves a great love story, absorbing characters, and plenty of laughs along the way.

What they're saying about it:

"I couldn't put this book down. I read it in less than 24 hours and when I wasn't reading it, the characters were still with me (at work, carpools, etc). I found myself rooting for Sydney, admiring her strength and honesty. I love getting lost in a book and Dina Silver successfully grabbed me with her poignant story of tough choices, ones that many of us could have been faced with in our lives. I can't wait for her second book."

"For anyone longing for a true love story, this book really delivers. At times hilarious, at times painful, the story takes you on the rollercoaster ride through a young woman's struggle with a very difficult decision. Dina Silver puts you into her main character's shoes and forces you to ask yourself, "What would I do?" And though I cannot answer that question for you, I do know that you will fall in love with Sydney's courage, Ethan's smile and Grace's strength."

Two lives in parallel – twin sisters separated at birth, but their lives take strangely similar and dangerous roads until the final collision which hurls each of them to the edge of disaster.

Katie and her gambling boyfriend Dec find themselves threatened with peril from the people Dec has cheated.

Jo-Anne (Annie) through her boyfriend Steven finds herself in the hands of much more dangerous crooks.

Can they survive and achieve safety and happiness?

What they're saying about it:

"'I loved this book. From the very first line I was hooked. From the vivid, poignant birth of seventeen-year-old Marie Sinclair's twin babies and her heart-breaking decision to keep only one of them, leaving the other twin for adoption - to the dramatic edge-of-your-seat climax.

In this second novel from the prize-winning Irish author of the best-selling "Belfast Girls", Gerry McCullough has reached a new level of story-telling. McCullough has the gift of knowing just how much to tell her readers, foreshadowing the danger in each of her short, cinematic scenes and then leaving you with bated breath, furiously turning the pages to follow the action in her easy flowing style of literary prose...

The fear is palpable. I could feel my pulse rate increasing as each scene unfolded. I have no hesitation in recommending this exciting thriller, and in giving it the richly deserved five stars.'--Amazon Reviewer

Joe Schwartz is a writer following in the footsteps of Dashiell Hammett, Donald Goines, and Chuck Palahniuk. In The Games Men Play, he has combined twenty-one short stories that will take the reader on a haunting journey through the darkest St. Louis streets to its most rural counties. A terrific, fast paced storytelling style that never wastes a word, his work constantly entertains and demands to be read.

What they're saying about it:

"Joe Schwartz made me an instant fan with his first short story collection Joe's Black T-Shirt. The Games Men Play is even better. These stories are dark, gritty snapshots of people you might pass by at any given time. These aren't just characters on paper. They feel real, as if they could step off the page and walk down the street with you. Schwartz has a way of engaging readers by giving enough detail to captivate without offering so much that you're bored. He always leaves me wanting more - but in a good way. If you're looking to get sucked in to a world that might make you grimace while you eagerly turn pages, this collection is a must."--Amazon Reviewer

What they're saying about it:

"Fans of Nevada Barr will love this suspenseful literary mystery, where the brutal Death Valley landscape is as much a character as the renegade radworkers, dangerously eccentric desert rats, and dogged geologists trying to prevent a nuclear disaster." - Lisa Brackmann, author of the literary suspense novel ROCK PAPER TIGER, an Amazon Top 10 Mystery and Thriller Pick

"BADWATER is superb. It has a great plot with many twists and surprises, featuring real-life characters. The author did a very find job of characterizing the disconnect between all the measures intended to assure safety and the reality of things sometimes being unsafe. Truly well-written and engaging. A joy to read."

THE MEDICI LEGACY by Greg Ahlgren

Genre: Thriller

Where to Get It:

When thirty-something Deputy Inspector Antonio Ferrara of the Italian Polizia di Stato discovers that the seemingly random victims of a Tuscan serial killer are all actually illegitimate descendants of one Giovanni di Cosimo de Medici, a 15th century Florentine banker, his superior scoffs at his theory, the Italian military police caution him to leave this closed case alone on the basis of “national security,” and even his father uses the occasion to hector him to leave police work and return to the family art business. Undeterred, Antonio enlists the aid of Rachel Fuller, an American Fulbright scholar working on her Medici dissertation in Florence, and together they travel to America to unlock a secret that spans three continents.

What they're saying about it:

"After the murder of a wealthy socialite rocks his hometown of Florence, Deputy Inspector Antonio Ferrara searches for redemption in a case he failed to solve. Unknowingly handsome, with a keen eye and an acute sense of observation, Antonio, the son of a famous art dealer, is burdened by his guilt. Under the nose of his doubting supervisors, he reopens the case and stumbles into a cross-continental crime ring involving secrets from the past and a powerful Renaissance-era family - the Medici.

The name 'Medici' links the murder with a string of random kidnappings occurring in the United States, but what is the connection? Are the descendents of the five-hundred year old banking family being targeted, or is Antonio chasing a myth?

Antonio pairs up with Rachel Fuller, American doctoral student studying the Medici, and is suddenly whisked across the ocean, chasing after what local police have dismissed as a simple missing persons. Each layer of discovery leads to more questions, as Antonio realizes that his suspected kidnappers are entangled in a web of criminal activity involving germ warfare, a World War II feud and legendary treasure. There are secrets in the Medici line only science can uncover. With the odds stacked against them and danger at every turn, Antonio and Rachel race to untangle the clues in order save the life of an innocent girl.

The Medici Legacy unravels slowly at first then leads you down a spiraling staircase of mystery and excitement. Alhgren's careful use of dialogue makes his storytelling glow. His characters are believable, even likeable, with all their unique quirks. Alhgren's descriptive style and intelligent humor add texture to this international crime thriller. The Medici Legacy is an intriguing read that will keep you guessing until the very end."--Amazon Reviewer

AN UNCONVENTIONAL WOMAN
Spirited Savannah Connor is passionately committed to stamping out social injustice. Yet when she arrives in Pilot Isle, North Carolina, ready to take up a new cause, she quickly finds herself on the outs with the town constable. Zachariah Garrett is the most arrogant, infuriating, maddeningly attractive man it’s ever been her misfortune to meet. And suddenly, Savannah is fighting a whole new battle—this one against her own yearning for a man who is impossible to resist.

AN UNCOMPROMISING MAN
Ever since his wife’s death two years ago, Zachariah Garrett has dedicated his life to keeping the peace. And avoiding the thought of love. But Savannah Connor isn’t an ordinary woman—and she proves hard to ignore. She’s a beguiling beauty with the power to awaken emotions Zach thought he’d never feel again, and the tenderness to help him forget his fears. And risk his heart once more.

What they're saying about it:

"Tides of Passion is a true romance. I rarely like the hero and the heroine as much as I liked Zach and Savannah. Loved them!!! They don't just fall in love - they battle and argue and flirt - with such witty dialogue and sizzling tension. I just couldn't put this book down. What I mean by real romance is the flirtation. It's there page after page, from the first chapter of the book. And when Zach and Savannah finally have sex, you're SO ready for these characters to be together. I actually think they were perfect for each other.

It was a terrific read. The setting was unusual, too! I'm getting kind-of sick of London. I've traveled to the Outer Banks area, and I can see it being very romantic.

I've also rarely read a romance where the characters talk to each other in such a natural way. I finished the book in one night. I can't wait for the release of Noah's story, Tides of Love! Another Garrett brother finds love."--Amazon Reviewer

“Once I thought I was a god, but now I know I’m not and I am glad.” So said Kianda Mala.

When Hannah went to examine a native found roaming in the tunnels of a mine, she did not expect her life to change. She did not expect her skills as a doctor to be put to the test in the primitive environment of a jungle village. She did not expect to fall in love with a man who was considered to be a god by the people with whom he lived.

Kianda Mala came out of the jungle to find out why his people were dying. What he found was a world beyond his understanding. A world where men tore what they wanted from the earth and dumped what was left in his valley regardless of the consequences. A world where his people were deemed dispensable – they were simple, primitive, of no worth.

Trapped by the rainy season Kianda won the respect and trust of Hannah and Jon, a mining engineer, and they agreed to help his people. He impressed them with his insight into human nature and his skills as a hunter. Oh, and did I mention, he has a tail…

What they're saying about it:

""Edge of Extinction" is a charmer. A story about a hidden Indian tribe in Brazil's Amazonian jungles is interesting enough. The fact that it is led by an unusual young man named Kianda Mala ("Mala" meaning "man" in the Chachinka language), the son of an English woman and a large monkey, makes it not only a unique story, but an unusual one. In most societies, an infant with a long, prehensile tail would be immediately killed as a demon. In this community, he is not only not killed, he is elevated to the position of Chaka (monkey god), and becomes the principle leader among his people.

This idyllic scene comes to an end when people begin dying, babies are born dead, and Kianda Mala discovers many dead fish floating downstream in the river that is their source of food and water. Seeking answers, Kianda Mala and two friends head upstream. Answers they do find, but they do not come easily. One of the men is shot to death, Kianda is captured, and the third escapes.

What becomes of Kianda Mala and his people? What do his captors make of this strange young monkey man? Surely such a being cannot be ... yet he is. Finding out what happens to Kianda Mala, his people, and the polluters is an adventure you won't want to miss. Heart-warming and at times poignant, it is one of the most enjoyable adventure tales I've read."--Amazon Reviewer

"This is a great counting book for kids up to around age 6 or 7. It covers numbers from one to ten and each number is beautifully illustrated with pictures of spy gear and gadgets that Secret Agent Josephine uses.

I read this with my four year old boy, Alex, and his first reaction was that this is a book for girls. Once we got past that, he enjoyed looking at all of the pictures. As we read through the book we talked about all the fun things that each of the gadgets could be used for. We normally make up stories and he made up several short stories about using some of the tools in make believe situations.

I highly recommend this books for young girls, and Alex says it's ok for boys too. It's a great counting and imagination workout."--Amazon Reviewer

Ruptured by Tarek Refaat

A year and a half after bringing her attacker to justice, rape victim Farida is trying to move on with her life. But now she faces a new set of challenges as she faces a society that instead of embracing her as a victim, tears her apart with its looks and whispers, a society that judges her blindly and silently, wonders if she asked for it. Farida faces her biggest challenge yet: the fight for her very identity and her right to live as a whole person.

What they're saying about it:

"The subject of rape is always a difficult topic to speak out upon. It's something people prefer to shove into the back of a drawer, intent on forgetting that such a thing ever happened. This mentality extends to every reach of the world, not just in Egypt and the outlying reaches of the Middle-East. While this subject is often-times taboo, it's imperative that those who've gone through such an ordeal to take the time to address it. To tackle the issue head-on in hopes of being able to put it behind them.

Tarek Refaat tackles this issue beautifully, in a way that leaves the reader with a greater understanding of what's like to experience rape through the eyes of the book's heroine. We are able to feel her pain and her frustrations as the society around her begins to treat her as if she's nothing but a bug to be crushed underneath their feet. A society that fails to understand that she's a victim of an unfortunate circumstance.

What they fail to understand is that Farida is a not what they think she is. She's a victim who's having quite a hard time dealing with what has happened to her. Her mind refuses to accept and overcome the rape. She feels that her soul is torn and that it'll never heal completely. More so, she feels lost. As if she'll never escape the injustice that has been committed against her.

As the story progresses, we're able to see Farida gain strength in her convictions as she does her best to move on. When her co-workers and her friend, Sara, show her that she doesn't have to deal with everything alone, she finds it within herself to finally accept the world around her. Most of all, she realizes that friends truly do make it worth living for and that it's possible to love again.

Ruptured is truly a remarkable story. One I recommend others read. It's a story that is very heartfelt and quite moving. I think quite a lot can relate with she's gone though."--Amazon Reviewer

"The main characters in Dead Locked are engaging and likable. I really enjoyed how the past interplayed with the present and how they were woven together. I love that it was set near the ocean and how that created the backdrop for the story.

But for me, more than plot, I'm all about characters and the chemistry they create. And there's definitely chemistry between Imogen and Sebastian. They have tension and energy that drive the story forward. Always looked forward to seeing them interact! It's a fun story that's easy to read. I agree with the other reader too, that you should read the "Bast and Immie" short story too! Gives a little background on the two of them- though not neccessary for understanding Dead Locked."--Amazon Reviewer

Philippa's barn burning down seemed like any other accident; except for whisperings that a legend had risen from the ashes to light fires again. While her husband evades questions and takes off mysteriously, a masked man stalks her, claiming he has answers. The more he reveals, the more tangled her world becomes. Why has he chosen to tell her all he knows? And is he a friend - or foe?

What they're saying about it:

"I really enjoyed this story- an interesting setting, well-developed characters, and intrigue! My favorite parts are when Philippa and Edric banter- he teases her, she fires back -they have good chemistry and crackle when they're together.

"Jester's" is a mystery set in medieval England, but has a modern flavor that keeps the setting from being too heavy. The descriptions of the surroundings really put you there.

For thousands of years they have served the Goddess to maintain the balance of the Universe and fight their nemesis Veronica Eisine, a black witch. Serving the Goddess does not come without risk. One day Vincent vanishes after one of their most important missions. Stolen Moments introduces the reader to the world of Providence and the three realms it is comprised of, The Spiritual, The Temporal, and the Magickal and the world of Wicca.

What they're saying about it:

"I don't usually read vampire stories and this one really surprised me. Totally the type of book I try to stay away from. The kind that are so interesting you must have hours free in order to finish in one sitting. Every time I would put it down to attend to 'the real world' I had to rush through my tasks in order to get back to the story. I just had to know what would happen next and to whom. I really like books that jump from past to present. The author did a great job depicting the two. I look forward to the next book in the series."--Amazon Reviewer

‘No Matter What’ is a contemporary saga, beginning in 1991 and spanning almost twenty years in the life of India, and the main players around her – Charley Miles, India’s best friend from England, but someone who harbours feelings of resentment towards a life she feels she deserves just as much as India, and whose attempts to get that life for herself result in circumstances nobody dared believe were possible; young and incredibly handsome movie star Kenny Ross, a man whose relationship with India is far more complicated than anything he’s ever felt before; Hollywood hot-shot Michael Walsh, a well respected actor-turned-producer-and-director with a dangerous obsession that ultimately leads to a series of shocking events; and Reece Brogan, the man who gives India her wonderful new life, and a man who has a very good reason for doing so…

A story of love and betrayal, jealousy and obsession; hidden secrets and second chances, ‘No Matter What’ takes us on a rollercoaster of a ride through two decades and the lives of people who all came together through their link to one woman – India Steven. People who, due to circumstances thrown upon them - or just fuelled with a desperate need - will do anything – anything – it takes to get what, or who, they really want. No matter what…

What they're saying about it:

"There are so many twists and turns in this plot, it's not at all predictable like some chick lit novels. You really feel you get to know all of the characters over time. I think I've loved and hated all of them at some point throughout the story!!"

"A brilliant read and I would thoroughly recommend it!"

"I loved Michelle's insight into the glamorous Hollywood/Vegas lifestyle which provided much-needed escapism from everyday existence. I highly recommend this book if you're looking for an epic holiday read but be warned. You'll be glued to the sunbed for days!"

Molly Parker is a DWAG – a darts wife and girlfriend. Or rather, she’s an ex-DWAG after divorcing Paul “Bad Lad” Parker, a professional darts player and the self-pronounced Geordie pantomime villain of the sport, after catching him aiming more than his arrows in the direction of more than a few very willing glamour models.
So, leaving her life – and her ex-husband - behind in their native North East of England, she moves to the Canarian island of Tenerife with her best friend Fran, putting the past behind her, determined to start a whole new life abroad.
Within months of arriving on the island she finds herself engaged to her Spanish boyfriend Antonio – a handsome Canarian bar owner - and with their whirlwind wedding just weeks away she’s the happiest she’s been in a long time with a great job at a Timeshare complex, fantastic friends, and a lovely little home in a country she’s fallen completely in love with.

But what Molly didn’t bank on was her ex-husband turning up out of the blue declaring his undying love for her and begging her to come back to him - and not just because his darts were suffering! His unannounced arrival turns Molly’s new and seemingly perfect life upside down as she suddenly has to face up to feelings she’d thought were long gone, and make decisions she never thought she’d have to make as her whole world is thrown into total confusion. Days in the sun or darts – it’s the choice she has to make. Throw in a Bolton-born lounge singer and a Take That tribute act, a famous TV actor with a reputation as a shameless flirt, and a major darts tournament that throws up more than it’s fair share of surprises, and all of a sudden Molly Parker’s life really is ‘Too Much Trouble in Paradise’ – a story of new beginnings, second chances, sun, sea - and darts!

As a child in Kathmandu, Asha was bitten by a dragon and gained the ability to hear the souls of all living things. Years later in India, she uses her strange gift and her training as an herbalist to save people possessed by ghosts, poisoned by legendary beasts, and tortured by the cruel doctors of Ming. And to fight the occasional bear or tiger, of course.

With the help of a beautiful blind nun and a sleepy little mongoose, Asha confronts both victims and predators, including the man who stole her childhood and killed her lover. But when she journeys into the west, Asha discovers that there are fates worse than death and there are human monsters that can only be defeated by a woman with the strength of a dragon.

What they're saying about it:

"The Dragon and the Lotus is a tasty mix of historical fiction and fantasy, with just a touch of steampunk for flavor. I started reading it sort of idly on my lunch break, thinking it would be a pleasant way to pass the time. In reality, I spent the rest of the afternoon counting the minutes until I could go home and finish it. Each adventure the main characters get tangled up in is unexpected and well-balanced, set in a world so rich that I was continuously and pleasantly surprised by each new turn of events.

A fast, entrancing read that definitely left me hoping for more."--Amazon Reviewer

It's 2029, an asteroid heads for an impact in the Sahara desert following a mysterious change in orbit. Far from being the catastrophic event that had been predicted, an ancient secret is exposed that will re-write the history of mankind.
Was an undiscovered branch of our family tree the foundation for our present civilisation? Who did build the pyramids? What are the markings on the Nazca plain in South America?

The Torah Cult, a secret organisation, set up hundreds of years before, will stop at nothing to prevent the release of any information.

Professor Simon Cartwright and Professor Mary Freeman are thrown together in a fast moving adventure where they travel from Timbuktu to Ayers Rock in Australia via Durham and Bangkok, while they battle to stay alive long enough to reveal the truth.

What they're saying about it:

"Just finished reading this on the recomendation of a friend. Really enjoyed as it has a rather unique subject matter as the idea for the plot. Would make a good film I think if the right person picks up on it (please don't cast Nicholas Cage!!)

It has touches of Da Vinci Code, Indiana Jones and Chariots of the Gods about it. James Anthony manages to get a lean, fast paced and intriguing story into around 180 pages, so an ideal size for taking on a trip or holiday (if you're too poor to have a kindle like me!!) and will literally fit in your pocket. Don't let the size fool you, it's a good story well told and the author has resisted the temptation to unnecessararily bulk out the book with excessive detail or diversion.

To anyone thinking of reading this book I'd say, get the kettle on, settle down and go with it! A good bit of escapism. It also makes you want to look further into some ideas, facts and questions that the story has been based on.

Looking forward to the authors next book!"--Amazon Reviewer

Bloodstorm by Sam Millar

Genre: Crime

Price: $1.42

Where to Get It:

Bloodstorm is the first in a series of PI books featuring Karl Kane. Karl Kane is a private investigator with a dark past. As a child, he witnessed the brutal rape and murder of his mother. The same man sexually molested Karl, leaving him for dead with horrific knife wounds covering his body. Years later, Karl has a chance to avenge his mother's murder by killing the man responsible. The opportunity arises on one unforgettable Good Friday night. For reasons he later regards as cowardice, Karl allows the opportunity to slip through his hands, only to be shattered when, two days later, two young girls are sexually molested and then brutally murdered by the killer on Easter Sunday morning. Karl now holds himself responsible for their deaths.

What they're saying about it:

"Bloodstorm is the first in a powerful new crime series from Millar, and its consistently tough prose should help gain Millar fans in the U.S. with a taste for the hard-boiled. Extremely original, it is a chillingly griping book.”--Publishers Weekly

"Crime noir doesn’t get much darker or grittier than this shocking tale of corruption and revenge... Altogether, Bloodstorm is a real find for aficionados of the classic hard-boiled novel who would like to see the form updated without it smelling like an anachronism.”--Booklist, USA

“Karl Kane rocks!”--James Thompson, best-selling author, Snow Angels

Lured into a polygamous marriage, she finds herself abandoned on a remote Mexican beach as the man she loves, unaware of her status, seeks his fortune in Alaska. Demonstrating her determination and faith, the reader is shown the resilience of this young woman who has grown beyond her years. Continuing through 1912 and the disastrous voyage of HMS Titanic, Conflict will keep you on the edge of your seat.

What they're saying about it:

"This is a thrilling adventure that brings you to the brink of hope and encouragement, only to reveal that victory is not so easity obtained, except through much sacrifice, faith, courage and sheer endurance. The historical accuracy of this novel beckons you into its pages and allows an empathic glimpse of the challenges that were presented and dealt with by the spirited and valiant settlers of the untamed and unclaimed West. It is very captivating!"--Amazon Reviewer (Book One)

"It's not very often that a sequel comes along that matches the excitment of the first book. I loved the first book, "Destiny" and was anxious to read the second to see what would transpire with Tom and Katrina. I was not disappointed. I not only grew to love them more, but developed a love for their children as well. I look forward to the third and know that the author will keep me up into the wee hours of the night once more!"--Amazon Reviewer (Book Two)

McClure soon uncovers a Wall Street money-laundering scheme linked to a secret brotherhood's plot to reclaim Jerusalem's Temple Mount.

The clock is ticking as Israeli Intelligence, aided by McClure, race to organize a preemptive eleventh-hour strategy aimed at thwarting the brotherhood's imminent attack. A timely blend of historical fact and fiction, the Essene Conspiracy builds to an unpredictable ending.

What they're saying about it:

"I don't typically read thrillers, but I picked this up at the suggestion of a friend and couldn't stop reading it. Aside from being a compelling and amazing story, it is very well-researched and the history was fascinating to me as someone who is interested in but not very knowledgeable about the Middle East. Whether you are interested in the nexus of religion and history or just love fast-paced thrillers that involve politics and corruption, I highly recommend this book."--Amazon Reviewer

"Great plot, memorable characters, a historical thriller which is intellectually stimulating and should be a must read for all thriller book clubs. Can't wait for the next Harry McClure novel. He's got charisma and charm. This should become a movie!"--Amazon Reviewer

Price: $0.99

Lurking in the nuclei of a few rare human cells is an as-yet unstudied gene. It is a gene that makes the inheritor crave mammal blood and faint in bright sunlight. It is a gene that prevents the bearer from appearing normally in digital or mirror images.
It’s a gene that makes life heck if you’re in junior high and trying to fit in.

Eric Wright is a half-vampire with a problem. Several problems, actually. He can’t tell bloodlust from his rollercoaster adolescent hormones. The cutest girl in first period English wants him to become a vegetarian. And the assistant principal suspends him when he refuses to explain why his skin appears translucent in a school security video.

Then Eric’s non-vampire mom, who’s definitely not telling everything she knows, takes him with her on a business trip. To Scotland, where it never stays sunny for very long. The perfect hang out for a vampire. Or several. If only Eric can find one to talk to before he makes any more stupid mistakes....

What they're saying about it:

"Confessions of an Average Half-Vampire" is a well written book. It is obvious Shafer knows teenage school students as she captures their sound and attitudes to perfection. The plot moves along at a nice clip and young readers will relate to the predicaments Eric encounters.

I look forward to reading more from Ms. Shafer and hope to spend some more time with Eric and his friends."--Amazon Reviewer

"This book is a fun, quick read that middle-school boys and girls would enjoy reading. This story was written to entertain, and it does."--Shelfari Reviewer
