For Fae-human half-breed Deva Morgan, life as she knows it changes on her
thirtieth birthday. One moment she's a barkeep, the next she is a warrior
fated to save Earth from the Dark Lord and his demon hoard. Shunned by both
her races, she faces a danger-filled quest with few allies. Too bad her
powers haven't fully emerged or stabilized.

For Deva it is life or death, on-the-job training with her companion,
Padraig O'Neal, a Fae warrior with a shadowed past. Can he quiet the storm
raging inside her, help her harness the growing power within her, and
provide a barrier between Deva and a fatal outcome? Will their love be
enough to save Deva and stop the Dark Lord's demons from entering Earth?

What they're saying about it:

"You'd think being a Goddess wouldn't have drawbacks, but being The Cáidh Arm prophesied to save the world when you don't have a clue how to control your powers can be disastrous. Welcome to Deva Morgan's world.

I could hardly put Warrior's Rise down. From the first couple of pages, I was dropped into a world of shifters, demons, magic, special op weres, humans, shifters...and dark, dark evil. I was swept into the danger of Deva's plight, trying to help her understand the magic she must learn to wield in order to save the world from impending darkness. Did I mention the kick-ass, strong women, and the men you'd like to die for? This novel has it all: action, the eternal battle between good and evil, love, hate...and a spy in their ranks on both sides. And it's only Book I.

Lose yourself in the worlds LJ DeLeon has created, a world about to be taken over by the Dark Lord and the minions who reside on the other side. But Deva and her friends, and I cannot forget to mention Padraig (oh, be still my heart) are hellbent not to allow this happen. Padraig has been sent to be Deva's Protector, and he's amazing!

There are a host of other characters you instantly fall in love with and worry and cry over. You're in for an entertaining and emotional filled ride."--Amazon Reviewer

Dragon Child by LJ DeLeon

A fire-breathing dragon, Moira O'Neal, was exchanged at birth for a Fae
princess. Discovering the truth, she escapes the cage of the royal court and
joins forces with the sexiest wereleopard on Earthworld. She fights the urge
to mate and the trap that comes with it as they race against time to find
the missing princess and a master of the black arts who covets her power.

Major Steve Taylor, a wereleopard in the Army For Light, partners with the
impetuous Moira in the middle a dangerous mission where failure means all
their deaths. Worse, his leopard decides Moira is his mate, leaving the man
at war with his cat.

What they're saying about it:

"Fae princess-in-waiting, Moira O'Neal learns the hard way that one doesn't hear good things about oneself by spying for information. Even if the spying is for the best of intentions. Determined to find the underlying cause of her mother, the Queen's, reclusive behavior, Moira overhears that she is not who she'd always believed. A child switched at birth with the Queen's own daughter, the true princess missing and at risk from the Dark Lord of the Abyss.

Devastated, Moira no longer has the ties she took for granted. Her heritage in doubt, her foundation in her family shaken, Moira takes the bull by the horns - or dragon by the tail as it were - and trains with the warrior team of the Fae to head out and search for answers. She finds some of them in her emerging powers as a dragon shifter and even more with her unanticipated mate.

If life weren't busy enough for Major Steve Taylor of the Warriors for Light army, the were-leopard and rising clan alpha now has to deal with covering the derriere of his Fae princess shifter. Not something either Moira or Steve relish at the start. The backdrop of this story proceeds with more details of the war between dark and light begun in Warrior's Rise. However, the focus on the romance and growth between the two shifter mates, dragon and leopard, lends a fresh tone to book two. The scenes of Moira's acceptance of her dragon capabilities are relayed in lush imagery that I really enjoyed. And while some shifters might progress to love on the wild side after a time of courtship, Steve and Moira start right out with a shifter to shifter love scene that sizzles (no - not leopard/dragon but I won't tell and spoil).

The cast of Warriors for Light Book One makes a number of appearances. The favorites of gargoyles, mages, shifters, Fae and of course the leaders of Team Light, Deva and Padraig, all combine to ensure this is a rich set of worlds with plenty to enjoy. The villains are plentiful with the Abyss churning out new demons and activating `sleepers' among the humans, or apparently not-so-human population. There's plenty of dark and evil here, but the romp and ultimate partnership of Moira and Steve carry the story successfully to its conclusion."--Amazon Reviewer
