The Tribe by McCarty Griffin

Price: $3.99

Genre: Young Adult

Where to Get It:

Smashwords (all eBook formats)

The tribe has been alone on the farm for many seasons, struggling to survive by their wits and will, unaided by the humans who abandoned them there years ago. Few members of the tribe outside of Tia, the eldest, and her fiercely loyal companion Bella, remember a time when two-legs--the cats' name for humans--lived in the farmhouse. Suddenly, the tribe's territory is invaded by a young two-legs couple, and the frightened cats ask themselves why have two-legs come to live there after so many seasons and what will happen to the tribe at the hands of these often cruel creatures?

What they're saying about it:

"This is a quick read and a joy, a real page turner. Very original, and most entertaining, it gives voice to those that are often the silent part of the tale, in this case, cats. I loved their tribe-chemistry and their diverse and charming personalities. Their clever, witty and banter-y sort of way of managing whatever happens strikes me as a really good take on cats, in general.

I can totally visualize their conversations going as McCarty Griffin portrays them.
The ‘two-legs’ were almost as endearing as the cats. Almost :D

Another proof of McCarty Griffin‘s talent to bring together humor and unique, original perspectives on things, this little darling of a read had me giggling pretty much all the way through.

(And, I just have to say, the cover is completely adorable!)

I highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys a short, light hearted, fun and entertaining read, and animal lovers such as myself will surely enjoy it thoroughly."--Smashwords Reviewer

For Fae-human half-breed Deva Morgan, life as she knows it changes on her
thirtieth birthday. One moment she's a barkeep, the next she is a warrior
fated to save Earth from the Dark Lord and his demon hoard. Shunned by both
her races, she faces a danger-filled quest with few allies. Too bad her
powers haven't fully emerged or stabilized.

For Deva it is life or death, on-the-job training with her companion,
Padraig O'Neal, a Fae warrior with a shadowed past. Can he quiet the storm
raging inside her, help her harness the growing power within her, and
provide a barrier between Deva and a fatal outcome? Will their love be
enough to save Deva and stop the Dark Lord's demons from entering Earth?

What they're saying about it:

"You'd think being a Goddess wouldn't have drawbacks, but being The Cáidh Arm prophesied to save the world when you don't have a clue how to control your powers can be disastrous. Welcome to Deva Morgan's world.

I could hardly put Warrior's Rise down. From the first couple of pages, I was dropped into a world of shifters, demons, magic, special op weres, humans, shifters...and dark, dark evil. I was swept into the danger of Deva's plight, trying to help her understand the magic she must learn to wield in order to save the world from impending darkness. Did I mention the kick-ass, strong women, and the men you'd like to die for? This novel has it all: action, the eternal battle between good and evil, love, hate...and a spy in their ranks on both sides. And it's only Book I.

Lose yourself in the worlds LJ DeLeon has created, a world about to be taken over by the Dark Lord and the minions who reside on the other side. But Deva and her friends, and I cannot forget to mention Padraig (oh, be still my heart) are hellbent not to allow this happen. Padraig has been sent to be Deva's Protector, and he's amazing!

There are a host of other characters you instantly fall in love with and worry and cry over. You're in for an entertaining and emotional filled ride."--Amazon Reviewer

A fire-breathing dragon, Moira O'Neal, was exchanged at birth for a Fae
princess. Discovering the truth, she escapes the cage of the royal court and
joins forces with the sexiest wereleopard on Earthworld. She fights the urge
to mate and the trap that comes with it as they race against time to find
the missing princess and a master of the black arts who covets her power.

Major Steve Taylor, a wereleopard in the Army For Light, partners with the
impetuous Moira in the middle a dangerous mission where failure means all
their deaths. Worse, his leopard decides Moira is his mate, leaving the man
at war with his cat.

What they're saying about it:

"Fae princess-in-waiting, Moira O'Neal learns the hard way that one doesn't hear good things about oneself by spying for information. Even if the spying is for the best of intentions. Determined to find the underlying cause of her mother, the Queen's, reclusive behavior, Moira overhears that she is not who she'd always believed. A child switched at birth with the Queen's own daughter, the true princess missing and at risk from the Dark Lord of the Abyss.

Devastated, Moira no longer has the ties she took for granted. Her heritage in doubt, her foundation in her family shaken, Moira takes the bull by the horns - or dragon by the tail as it were - and trains with the warrior team of the Fae to head out and search for answers. She finds some of them in her emerging powers as a dragon shifter and even more with her unanticipated mate.

If life weren't busy enough for Major Steve Taylor of the Warriors for Light army, the were-leopard and rising clan alpha now has to deal with covering the derriere of his Fae princess shifter. Not something either Moira or Steve relish at the start. The backdrop of this story proceeds with more details of the war between dark and light begun in Warrior's Rise. However, the focus on the romance and growth between the two shifter mates, dragon and leopard, lends a fresh tone to book two. The scenes of Moira's acceptance of her dragon capabilities are relayed in lush imagery that I really enjoyed. And while some shifters might progress to love on the wild side after a time of courtship, Steve and Moira start right out with a shifter to shifter love scene that sizzles (no - not leopard/dragon but I won't tell and spoil).

The cast of Warriors for Light Book One makes a number of appearances. The favorites of gargoyles, mages, shifters, Fae and of course the leaders of Team Light, Deva and Padraig, all combine to ensure this is a rich set of worlds with plenty to enjoy. The villains are plentiful with the Abyss churning out new demons and activating `sleepers' among the humans, or apparently not-so-human population. There's plenty of dark and evil here, but the romp and ultimate partnership of Moira and Steve carry the story successfully to its conclusion."--Amazon Reviewer

The Breadwinners by Jan Hurst-Nicholson

Genre: Family saga

Price: $0.99

Where to Get It:

Amazon.com (Kindle)

When an ambitious young immigrant opens a bakery in competition with his vengeful former employer it is the beginning of a bitter rivalry that spans three generations of hatred, jealousy, passion and betrayal as the bakeries grow from small family businesses into large corporations.

It is New Year’s Eve 1924 and the fiery and volatile Charles McGill is devastated when Addy Brody, the woman he loves, announces her engagement to Lucas Connelly, his friend and co-worker. Charles drowns his sorrow in drink and seduces Hilde Richter, the unattractive daughter of a wealthy Durban businessman. When Hilde finds she is pregnant her father offers to set up the penniless Charles with his own bakery if he will marry her. Charles readily agrees and, unknown to Hilde, the two men draw up a contract. It is the beginning of a battle for supremacy between Charles, Lucas, and Miles Davenport, their former employer.

As the bakeries grow and prosper, acrimony begins within the families, pitting brother against brother, and Charles becomes increasingly dissatisfied, realising that success means nothing if he cannot have the woman he loves.

The story covers a period of sixty years and leads us through the fortunes, joys and sorrows, successes and failures of the three families as they survive the great depression, the war years and the isolation of South Africa.

It will appeal to readers who enjoy historical fiction set in exotic locations, and those who read authors such as Barbara Taylor Bradford, Catherine Gaskin and Belva Plain.

What they're saying about it:

“Characterization is one of this novel's strong points and each of the many characters is fully fleshed out. There are some excellent examples of imagery, concise descriptive detail and a strong emphasis on characterization through verbs not adjectives, or 'show not tell'.

“Ms. Nicholson also writes about the personal lives of each family and she has done a wonderful job describing each and every character and their traits and it makes you feel like you really know these characters. I haven't read such a well-written saga in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed every single word written. Jan Hurst-Nicholson had to have spent a long time doing a lot of homework with the research to develop such a great historical fiction story. I love her style of writing and will read whatever she writes. Jan has found a new fan for sure. I am a indie author addicted reader and I have found a gem in Jan Hurst-Nicholson.”

Belfast Girls by Gerry McCullough

Sheila, ugly duckling turned supermodel, is kidnapped.

Phil is sent to prison instead of her drug dealer boyfriend.

Mary, surviving a drug overdose, has a spiritual awakening.

It is also the story of the men who matter to them –

John Branagh, former candidate for the priesthood, a modern Darcy, someone to love or hate. Will he and Sheila ever get together?

Davy Hagan, drug dealer, ‘mad, bad, and dangerous to know.’ Is Phil mad to have anything to do with him?

Although these girls come from different religious backgrounds, starting off as childhood friends, they manage to hold on to that friendship in a country where religion often divides.

What they're saying about it:

"Gerry is an amazing storyteller. Her character development is skillful and has such depth that we are immediately immersed in this trio of woman. I love the fact that she opens the book with present day suspense, and then goes back to the beginning, making us turn the pages with anticipation of when the present and past will collide. The emotion we experience through their adolescence into the college years are so familiar that we can put ourselves right on that dance floor or around that bonfire. The uderlying conflict between Prostant/catholic diferences across the country make their friendship that more powerful...Wonderful descriptives paint a vivid atmosphere which makes you truly experience life in Northern Ireland. I highly recommend this not only as a must read but as a great gift...."--Patricia aka Columbia Valentine Scot

"Gerry McCullough is a great writer. She takes Belfast and brings it to everyone on a level which makes it identifiable. The characters are so well defined and the pace doesn't let up. You can't write about Northern Ireland without bringing up religion and Ms. McCullough is not shy about broaching the subject. There is no confusing Sheila, Phil, and Mary. The men in their lives hold the interest of everyone who reads this. For me, it was the personalities that was the gripping part. I remained interested in what was going to happen to the people involved. It's a character driven novel, and so well written. You certainly don't have to be Irish to enjoy this one. Well done."--Amazon Reviewer

A little girls world is turned upside down by a visitor, the Angel of Death. She finds herself trapped in a nightmare, consumed by her paralyzing loss and overwhelming grief. The haunting visions and untimely deaths of others are a constant reminder that life and death are only a heartbeat away.

She eventually befriends the unusual little girl who moves in next door with captivating violet eyes and a profound knowledge of things that far exceeds her tender years.

A saga crossing over two worlds. Two souls being drawn precariously together over the centuries.

When your destiny has been written in blood, and you are left with one burning question. Is your Guardian Angel from Heaven or Hell?

What they're saying about it:

"I felt myself riding the roller coaster with Grace, as she dealt with the pain, loss, and healing in her life. I’m not sure what type of reader I would recommend this book to. There were some adult themes dealing with the angels, but most of the book was centered around Grace, who is a child. I am very intrigued by this story and I really can’t wait to see how everything ties together."--Review by Paranormal Opinion

"The first thing that I truly liked about it is the style of the writing; it instilled in me the acute sense of being present to something quite wonderful. I, for one, always love the art of the word above the more action-oriented way of writing, but I also know that there are those who value the easier to read style. For me, the writing here scores a lot of points. It’s adequate to tales of angels, demons, gods, and mighty, legendary creatures. I was especially pleased by Patti Robert‘s descriptive talents, they’re a godsend to my personal tastes."--Book Review By L.E.Olteano

Confessions of a Call Center Gal by Lisa Lim

Where to Get It:

A fun chick lit romance that will appeal to fans of Sophie Kinsella and Marian Keyes. Bridget Jones meets The Office. Madison Lee is a fresh college grad, ready to take on the world of print media. But she has zero luck landing a job. Unemployment is at ten percent and on the rise. Desperate and left with no other options, she accepts a position as a service rep at a call center in Pocatello, Idaho. At the Lightning Speed call center in Spudsville, Maddy plunges into the wild and dysfunctional world of customer service where Sales is prided over Service and an eight hour shift is equivalent to eight hours of callers bashing her over the phone. Oh sure, the calls are bad. But Maddy manages to find humor on the phone and off the phone. And with all the salacious drama behind the calls, there is never a dull moment at the Lightning Speed call center.

Lately . . . Maddy has been pining for her smolderingly gorgeous co-worker Mika Harket. Now things are heating up on the phone--and elsewhere. Don't hang up on this novel. Working at a call center has never been this garish . . . or this delightful.

What they're saying about it:

"This novel has all the usual ingredients . . . a slightly quirky and non-neurotic heroine, a gorgeous hero, a couple of fun sub-plots and sprinkles of romance. The dark, dashing and handsome Mika, (sigh) he sounds delightful, Maddy and Karsynn are not perfect but that's what make them relatable. This book will transport you to a crazy call center and amuse you with nice people having the fun. You'll fall in love with the characters; the book does start off a bit slow but once it picks up, it's unputdownable. Recommended fun and enjoyable read."

Morale in the country of Oasis has never been worse. The Earthers, a tree-hugging sect, beg forgiveness for their crimes against twigs and weeds. The Godlies preach penitence and suffering and inspire their followers into submission by threatening them with an afterlife spent being chased by a fire-breathing dragon.

All Oasans fear the dragon in the swamp at the country's edge, and they don't know that he fears them. Druid, a water dragon who puts out fires, steams up when he learns that a cunning opportunist intends to exploit dragonphobia and have the dragon killed so that he can level the swamp for suburban housing.

Tara, a kitten with charisma, is trying to bring humans back into balance. She needs to enlist Serazina, a young human woman who hides her ability to read emotions in order to avoid imprisonment in the Ward for the Chronically Crazy. Serazina's troubles grow when Phileas, Guardian of Oasis, chooses her to be the mother of the heir he so badly needs. Before he can consider fatherhood, he needs to stem the mysterious rumors that he's soft on dragons.

Somehow these four must overcome communication difficulties, mutual mistrust, and delusions of human superiority to save the country. Otherwise, even though Druid doesn't breathe fire, Oasis will be toast.

What they're saying about it:

"Big Dragons Don't Cry is a deeply moving portrayal of man's destructive attitude towards animals and nature which challenges our established notions of dealing with such issues. The author's greatest feat is to deliver this hard-hitting message without ever `preaching' to her reader. Instead, the author creates wonderful characters such as the water dragon Druid and the cat Tara, who form bonds of companionship that override prejudices and illuminate this story.

The author succeeds in interweaving several threads of plot; her deft handling of these different plots allows the story to conclude with a terrific climax. The combination of an important moral message with a swashbuckling sense of adventure reminds me of Avatar.

One of the book's greatest strengths is that it constantly grounds its humour and adventure with an important overriding message - which is one heck of a feat for any author to pull off. This allows the book to pull off its key emotional moments with dexterity and depth.

Read this book - you won't regret doing so."--Amazon Reviewer

"I loved this story! The author's writing style is so comfortable to read and everything had a lovely flow to it. Being able to travel back and forth from animals to humans and back again, seemed effortless. And the viewpoints and voice of each character in the book was so unique. One thing the author did that not many do, is to start off with a chart of who is who. I found this so helpful and wish more fantasy writers would do this.

There was a very deep message to be found underlying the interesting plot, but at no time was it heavy handed. It did give a message for us all to think about, but I never felt like I was being hit with a "lesson." Because of this, the story was fun, and fascinating without being preachy.

I had wanted to read this book as I have read a few of the author's short stories and loved them. This writer's love for nature and animals, as well as people, comes through her writing so strongly. But I think that the thing I enjoyed most of all was that this story was also a story of redemption and hope. I am looking forward to seeing what else this writer has to say to us."--Amazon Reviewer

When they tried to conquer the New World, the Espani lost everything: soldiers, ships, wealth, and even their faith. But Don Lorenzo Quesada believes an ancient holy relic will restore his country to prosperity and honor, unless the military finds it first. Accompanied by his best fencing students, his Incan wife, and her sabre-toothed cat, Lorenzo races across his wintry homeland through a gauntlet of blood-thirsty assassins, undead demons, and giant beasts to recover the sacred skyfire stone.

But when the stone is stolen and a massive Espani warship sets sail for Marrakesh, Lorenzo must stop a war that could destroy all the nations of the Middle Sea, even if it costs him both the holy stone and his life.

Readers return to The Other Earth in this stunning vision of an alternate world where fantastical machines sail the seas and the skies, enormous prehistoric beasts still roam the earth, and the restless dead walk among the living.

What they're saying about it:

"Joseph Robert Lewis has formidable writing talent and a unique vision for the Science Fiction genre. That talent and vision are on full display in "The Broken Sword", his latest novel and part two of his "Halcyon" series, set in an alternate Earth. I want to be careful in my review so as not to provide spoilers, so I'll put it like this: He creates believable characters that I found myself quickly caring for as people and interested in as they progress. The world he creates for those characters to inhabit is well-described, logically tight as a drum, deep, and at the same time delightfully surprising in its inner life. The capstone is the story of The Broken Sword. It is relayed to the reader masterfully, allowing us to experience it as though we are both part of the story and an observer of the events that create its history.

I have read Science Fiction from the Campbellian "Golden Age" to the present. While I do not claim to be an authority on the genre, I have enough experience to know talent when I see it on the page. Catch Joseph Robert Lewis now and stay with him - you will be witnessing the development of a future Hugo/Nebula winner. Yes, he is really that good."--Amazon Reviewer

"This is the second book in the Halcyon series. I have read the first book as well. This book continues with the same characters as in the first one, but the previously seperate plot lines get merged as the main characters meet and interact with each other in this book. The airship Halcyon is not central to this book, but it was still important.

The central characters, Tahiri, Lorenzo, Kenan, and Qhora all undergo some development in this book. They have depth and feelings and help draw the reader into the plot. I enjoyed the change of geography, the alternate reality Spain is interesting: Espani, a cold snowy land, full of ghosts, and completely lacking in technology. Lorenzo's struggle with being an expert sword user, and instructor, with being a deeply religious man are highlighted in this book. Lewis has created a good cast of characters in an alternate steampunk Mediterranean world. I've enjoyed this series and look forward to reading more by Lewis."--Amazon Reviewer

"This is a great Young Adult book! It's fun and doesn't overstep the boundaries of young love. Watching how the supernatural world unfolded around Amber was excellent. Will an unimaginable alliance, an unlikely friendship and a forbidden love be enough to save the Kingdoms of Kaynos?

What they're saying about it:

"This book is full of mystery, suspense, witchcraft, magic, dishonesty, espionage...I could go on and on. The characters are colorful not only in appearance but also in character. Author Tracey Alley has written a very enjoyable book and I really hope that Erich's Plea: Book Two is just around the corner for me to read. I've gotten into the story and characters and can't wait to see what will happen to them next."

"Erich's Plea" by Tracey Alley is a trip into a meticulously designed fantasy world teetering on the brink of worldwide war. "Erich" is High King Erich and his plea is directed, by way of a dream to his imprisoned son, Prince Einreich, better known as Slade. Slade is being held captive in the worst prison in the known lands, one where escape is impossible, but escape is what he must do if he is to assist his father, the king.

Alley does an admirable job of telling a story that is fraught with tension while laying the groundwork for future installments of the "Witchcraft Wars". The tale kept me interested throughout its entirety and turning pages eagerly clear till the end. The story rarely lagged; I felt that each piece of information contained in the pages of the book was integral to the developing story. Finally, I enjoyed the book enough that I have the next installment sitting on my computer waiting for me to review in about a month or so."

What they're saying about it:

"This Scottish historical novel abounds with passion, struggle, and the life and culture of medieval Scotland's fight against the English invader.

J. R. Tomlin writes a stirring and highly readable novel about the Battle of Stirling Bridge, precursor to Bannockburn where the Scots won their freedom from the tyrannical Edward Plantagenet."--Reviewer

James Douglas can only watch, helpless, as the Scottish freedom fighter, William Wallace, is hanged, drawn, and quartered. Even under the heel of a brutal English conqueror, James's blood-drenched homeland may still have one hope for freedom, the rightful king of the Scots, Robert the Bruce. James swears fealty to the man he believes can lead the fight against English tyranny.

The Bruce is soon a fugitive, king in name and nothing more. Scotland is occupied, the Scottish resistance crushed. Only James believes their cause is not lost. With driving determination, he blazes a path in blood and violence, in cunning and ruthlessness as he wages a guerrilla war to restore Scotland's freedom. James knows he risks sharing Wallace's fate, but what he truly fears is that he has become as merciless as the conqueror he fights.

What they're saying about it:

"Take a journey into the past in A Kingdom's Cost, a captivating tale spun by J.R. Tomlin. We follow young James Douglas, a mere slip of a lad, as he makes his way home to Scotland to join forces with Robert de Bruce, King of the Scots as they wage war against Edward Longshanks, King of England for the freedom of the Scottish people.

This book was truly a joy to read. It grabbed me yanked me in, made me love the characters, gave me villains to hate, loved ones to mourn passing and a tale that kept me on the edge of my seat turning the pages in titillation. The characters are amazingly formed, each unique in personality and possessing a human quality one can associate with. The story is smooth and moves at a fast clip, the adventures and feats are believable. The detail to historical moments is well thought out and interwove throughout the story excellently. You will find yourself cheering with the characters in their victories and crying with them over their losses. I cannot find the words to express how much I truly enjoyed this tale; it is an amazing story that will leave you smiling at the end. I can't wait to read more of Tomlin's work, she is truly an amazing historical fiction writer."--Amazon Reviewer

Kiss Me, I'm Irish by Bella Street

Genre: Romance, Paranormal

Price: $0.99

Where to Get It:

Amazon.com (Kindle)
Smashwords (all eBook formats)

In 1830, Emily Musgrave is heading to a convent for misbehavior. In modern-day Tennessee, Liam Jackson is playing his Dobro in seedy bars. It's doing nothing for his career and even less for the dark places in his soul.

Pixie mischief can not only change time-lines, it can change hearts. Because sometimes a girl just needs a little magic in her life.

What they're saying about it:

"I loved this story! Bella Street has told a tale spanning many centuries as her main character, feisty Emily Musgrave of Cornwall, takes an unexpected trip to the future. Plopped smack dab into the middle of a quick getaway scene with singer Liam Jackson and his quirker sister Tinker, Emily faces a whole new world . . . and all that comes with it. From riding behind Liam on a roaring contraption called a "motorcycle" to modern conveniences like hot running water and laundromats, Emily tags along with the unusual siblings as they make their way to Nashville and all the promises of Music City. But secrets revealed put the three at odds, even as a few other "appearances" by those from the past pop up here and there. This would make a GREAT movie, complete with a Celtic/blue grass soundtrack! Bring it on!"--Amazon Reviewer

"Kiss Me, I'm Irish is light paranormal at its best. I couldn't help but fall for Liam. He immediately drew me in and made me want to root for him. Tinker is an awesome, modern character who contrasts the heroine, Emily, perfectly. Emily is a wayward young lady from Regency England. Thrown into modern life, her journey is one of self-discovery. She's a great heroine who keeps it pretty cool despite the time traveling, pixies and Liam. This story has plenty of twists. It was a fun read that made me laugh, smile and keep reading until the very end. I'd recommend Ms. Street to anyone looking for a great time travel romance"--Amazon Reviewer

What they're saying about it:

"Aaron Wilson's tantalizingly dark and modern fairy tale, The Lily Pad tosses the reader into the throes of a nightmare borne from the shenanigans of a high strung, club-hopping glamourpuss.

ED Lindquist rockets us into the deep darkness of the void with Fireflies, where gut twisting, space-age noir unfolds with lightning speed. This story is the stuff that SF was made of, the kind of storytelling that made me fall in love with Sci-Fi, in the first place.

June's issue veers off from the uber-fantastic and yanks us back down to earth into the realms of mystifying murders, warped realities and the twisted rationale of a psycho serial killer.

A fine selection of poetry leads up to the second installment of Glen Binger's serial, Timeline. Essie Holton explores world of zombies and vampires in her reviews of A.M. Harte's Hungry For You and Kit Iwasaki's Vampire General: Intern With the Vampire.

eFiction Magazine, launched just a little bit over over a year ago. Each monthly issue features a robust mix of prose and poetry from an eclectic bunch of talented contributors. I dare say Editor-in-Chief, Doug Lance's brain child is growing into quite the respectable literary publication!"--Amazon Reviewer

Sometimes death is only the beginning...

Even after the bad day she's had, Cassy is still surprised to find herself shot, an innocent bystander in a drive by shooting. Bleeding to death in an empty parking lot, she knows she is going die.

What she doesn't expect, is the arrival of a strange, and unnaturally handsome, man who tells her he can keep her from passing on in return for being his forever. In desperation, she agrees but afterwards she is beyond dismayed to discover she has died.

To make matters worse, the stranger has disappeared, leaving her spirit to wander through a series of worlds unknown to her. Her existence is one of fear and loneliness, until she meets another like her and discovers she's not a ghost at all but something much more.

What they're saying about it:

"I just finished The Forgotten Echo, and I have to say, it was pleasantly surprising. When Cassy gets shot at the beginning, there are a thousand different directions it can go. I found myself assuming and guessing at what would come next, based on other paranormal books I've read. And the way Jen Wylie took it was completely fresh and new, making me intrigued from page 1. Jen reveals Cassy's new existence and place in the world in a way that keeps you turning pages, wanting to know more. There's plenty of twists and turns and hints at bigger things, something rare for a short story, while still managing to reveal each character's personality and develop them as the story moves along. The entire concept of the story is unique, which makes you HAVE to keep reading, to figure out how it all turns out for Cassy. I can't wait to read the next installment!"--Review by Heather Hildenbrand, author of Across the Galaxy

What they're saying about it:

"I am HIGHLY impressed that this novel came from a 14 year old author, not only is the plot extremely expansive, with a mystery that totally kept me in suspense, but the characters are highly engaging, while being normal “teens” and the sweet love story, is adorable – love, the puppy dog love!
